Stacey Jones the really-rather-good-a-few-years-back halfback has just resigned re-signed with the New Zealand Warriors for the 2009 season.
I do worry that this is like the Warriors of old who signed players like John Kirwin Kirwan, seemingly for a laugh or to pull in punters. Still big comebacks have happened before.

Possibly the weirdest part of this story is that someone thought Matthew Ridge could write and gave him a (paying?) job doing so. Then we he wrote something dumb everyone is shocked.
It's a bit rough giving [Ruben Wiki] stick. I don't know what Ridge is on about but he's entitled to his opinion.
Meantime the Warriors are favourites to beat the Bulldogs. Which team does that say more about?
