Re: the sevens, if you watch on TV you notice the crowd noise doesn't rise and fall with the on field action, it's just the constant hubbub of people getting rat-arsed and taking phone cam photos of each others' costumes.
I went last year, and thought it was a lot of fun, but wouldn't go along too often. You've gotta go once, right?
